| One of the most exciting things about the music business is when you get to work with people that helped to shape your playing! Here are some of Gordon's thoughts on the matter: "When I was a kid, I used to pore over the credits on the jackets of the old 33 r.p.m. records, soaking up the names of all the studio musicians that were mezmerizing me with their magical stuff. I've been incredibly lucky to work with many of them since then. I've never stopped being blown away when one of the people that was an influence on me was on the other end of the phone asking me to do a session or a gig"....G.T. "My good friends Bill Keith & Eric Weissberg are probably two of the most recorded people in history! They both not only have recomended me to producers when they could not do the session, but have used me on their own projects! I owe them both a great debt of grattitude.".....-G.T. They say a man is known by the company he keeps. Here are just a few of the other session players & producers that Gordon has recorded with over the years: Glynn Johns, Arif Mardin, Roy Halee, Felix Cavelerie, Jim Rooney, Paul Gemignani, Will Lee, John Miller, Ron Carter, Rufus Reid, Jon Carroll, Mark Schatz, Roy Husky jr., Mike Auldridge, Bernie Leadon, Dan Dugmore, Arlen Roth, Hugh McCracken, Russ Barenberg, David Grier, Mike Munford, Tony Trishka, Dede Wyland, Keith Rosier, Kenny Kosek, Richard Crooks, Tammy Rodgers, Gordon Johnson, Shane Kiester, Warren Bernhardt, Warren Odze, Anthony Jackson, John Preveti, Scott Kuney, Livingston Taylor, Kim Scharnberg, Michael Starobin, Phil Granger, Jeff Mironov, Shawn Pelton, Andy Stein, Andrew Schwartz, Chris Parker, Frank Solivan II, Antoine Silverman, Artie Traum, Roly Salley, John Sebastian, Stefan Custodi, Kip Martin, ...the list goes on . |
